Taxation Services

Our taxation services involve determining clients tax liabilities and/or entitlements in accordance with the PNG taxation laws. These services include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation and lodgment of all tax returns (Monthly and Annual) - These returns include, Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax, Goods & Services Tax, Salaries & Wages Tax and others.
  • Managing IRC statement of accounts and resolving discrepancies in tax accounts The IRC statement of account is just like a bank statement. Taxpayers are required to reconcile their tax ledger accounts with that of the IRC. Sometimes the reconciliation process can be tedious. That is why it is advisable that taxpayers outsource services to tax agents or tax specialist who have the expertise to reconcile and resolve discrepancies or reconciling items for the respective tax accounts of the tax payer.
  • Tax planning - Tax planning is something that most businesses do not appreciate because of lack of knowledge. Tax planning simply requires a taxpayer to reorganize their business approach to limit or avoid paying more taxes. This requires tax experts who can advise on the best possible avenue to avoid paying more taxes through legal avenues. That requires understanding provisions of the Income Tax and GST legislations that taxpayers can utilize to reduce or avoid paying more taxes.
  • GST refunds management – Taxpayers can sometimes be in a GST refund position. We can provide the necessary expertise to assist taxpayers apply to the IRC and obtain their GST refunds.
  • Certificate of Compliance - The Income Reporting System (IRS) of the Internal Revenue Commission (IRC) requires certain businesses to be issued a Certificate of Compliance (COC).   • Tax account closures - This process allows taxpayers who are liquidated or who intend to cease operations close their tax accounts with IRC. This process is mandatory in order to enable the taxpayer to deregister the company from the Investment Promotion Authority.
